about the lab

The Digital Discourse, Media, and Writing Lab (DDMW) was formed in 2022 with the mission of advancing applied linguistics research in the areas of online discourse, digital composition, and related topics. To accomplish this, the DDMW Lab and its team members engage in a number of activities, including:

• fostering faculty-student research collaborations both domestically and internationally;
  
  
• hosting invited research talks and workshops;
  
  
• and serving as a resource for scholars by providing various equipment and software.
